This is the 3rd and final part of Africa. To say editing through all of these conversations was time consuming is truly an understatement. But with that being said, Jenelle is sooo excited to share Part 3 with all of you!
One last time, Jenelle is joined by Chelsey who breaks down South Africa as the final country they visited together. They share their experiences from the infamous Kruger National Park and discuss safety in Johannesburg. If you somehow missed it, this trip was truly an experience of a lifetime! Everyone on this trip would agree that Africa must be added to the top of your list!
After Jenelle and Chelsey say their goodbyes, Nicole Taylor is next to join the conversation. Nicole is the only one from the trip that Jenelle (and Jo) have seen since their tour ended in Africa...they had a wonderful time catching up and reminiscing in the Canadian rockies. But enough about Canada for now, these two chat about some of the funny moments they can remember from the trip and play a little game of Never Have I Ever - travel edition.
ALSO, don't forget to check out the incredible, Oak & Aspen Soapery! This is a small local business and Jenelle couldn’t be more excited to be partnered up with them! She is obsessed with their shower steamers! All of Jenelle Journals listeners get 10% off when using code: JJOURNALS so go check it out and treat yourself!
During Part 2 of Africa, Chelsey comes back to break down 3 more countries with Jenelle. They discuss all of the wildly unique excursions they chose to do like a village tour, going up to the devil's pool, whitewater rafting, the Rhino walk, etc. What a surreal experience this trip was! Chelsey went all out before she started her "Big Girl" job, saying yes to every excursion that was available to her! They went from camping on the beach in Malawi to setting their tent up right beside a zebra in Zambia to enjoying the gorgeous view of Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe! This tour was truly a trip of a lifetime!
A little later on in the episode, Jenelle is joined by Nicole Kelly who quickly became a friend on their Acacia tour! They share many laughs while catching up and reminiscing about all of their time together. Find out what the witch doctor says to her & if what he said came true! It is sooo wonderful they have remained in contact over the years!

We’ve been working on the Africa episodes for almost 2 months now… SO MUCH EDITING! But we can promise you that it was worth the wait!
On this week’s episode of Jenelle Journals, Jenelle is joined by her partner, Jo, to talk all about Africa! They started it off with a shotgun as per usual, but eventually got into why and how they decided to travel to Africa in 2016. It turned out to be one of their favourite trips ever! They have some good banter but more importantly, they chat about their favourite memories from each country and give you some information about Capetown, South Africa!
It has been difficult to describe how incredible this trip was, so to help her out, Jenelle was also joined by Chelsey, who was the only other Canadian on the tour. These two chatted for over 4 hours, so we broke it down into a couple different parts. In Part 1, they talk about their adventures from the first country they visited...Tanzania! Blown away by the safaris and stunned by the incredible beaches, they share some of the unreal experiences they had while visiting this gorgeous country.

On this week's episode of Jenelle Journals, Jenelle is joined by her loving partner, Jordan, who was feeling a little sassy while recording. Naturally, they started off the podcast with a shotgun as Jo has been shotgunning everyday with his friends, over facetime, since the beginning of this second lockdown.
They chatted for nearly 2 hours, discussing both all inclusive vacations to Cuba and the Domincan Republic. Between the two, the Dominican Republic was probably their favourite but going away for a week to relax would be wonderful no matter where you go!

In this mini episode, Jenelle talks about all the different ways she’s tried out to save some extra money for travelling. Some of the things she suggests are not easy but you can definitely do it if you put your mind to it!
She'll ask some questions that will really make you think about the stuff you are currently spending money on and hopefully give you some brand news ways to make a couple extra bucks. It's a lot of information but if at any point, you're wanting to see the written version, you can check out www.jenellejournals.wixsite.com/blog
Hopefully after listening to this, you will have taken away some easy ways to save up and can really start to work on putting them to the test.
It won't be easy, but she can promise you it'll be worth it!
Today on Part 2 of Europe, Jenelle is again, joined by one of her best friends, Nicole Fuller, to finish breaking down the rest of the countries they travelled to.
They start off talking about Bosnia, where Jenelle reveals she has a bucket list item to check off there, ever since she was unable to complete it in 2013! From there, they chat about Serbia, Hungary and Austria - the place where they admit they weren't the best travellers when they decided to skip out on Vienna's main attraction to go to an amusement park. Then, they share info about Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and England - where they finished off the topdeck tour! So sad, but they still had a week left in Ireland before they headed home!
After finishing the recap with Nicole, Jenelle is joined by another very special guest! Megan Siluch made time out of her day, from the other side of the world, to coordinate a time to call in. They chatted for over an hour, catching up and reminiscing about the good memories they created while travelling Europe.

This is the very first full length episode of Jenelle Journals!
Jenelle is joined by one of her best friends, Nicole Fuller! They go down memory lane and break down their topdeck tour itinerary while stopping often to laugh and reminisce about many silly stories from their time in Europe. They do their best to give you ideas of things you can do, if you ever want to go visit any of these amazing countries, as well as some tips along the way.
They ended up chatting for so long that we had to break this episode into 2 parts. So in Part 1, Jenelle and Nicole discuss their time in France, Switzerland, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Vatican City, Greece, Albania and Croatia.
Oh , and tune in next week to listen to part 2.... we may or may not have a guest calling in from the other side of the world!!!
Check out www.jenellejournals.wixsite.com/blog for a written version of this breakdown!
Welcome to the very first mini episode of Jenelle Journals. If it isn't obviously already, Jenelle loves to journal! She takes the time to write every evening before going to bed. Mainly just in a gratitude journal but she also finds it very therapeutic to write about different situations from her everyday life, giving her the chance to reflect on what is going on in the world.
In this episode, you’ll learn more about her as she explains why she wanted to start this podcast in the first place. You’ll hear the story of how she was working 3 jobs in 2018 to make travelling a priority and how she went on to complete her 2019 New Years resolution, even with a major twist involving a robbery along the way.
When Jenelle is not planning her next holiday, you can find her teaching fitness classes, managing Aradia Sherwood Park, assisting the optometrists at Varsity Optical or assisting the physiotherapists at Advanced Health Physiotherapy. She has a lot on her plate these days...Her partner, Jo, would probably tell you that she has too much on the go, but she thrives when having a bunch of things to do. Probably because she likes to check things off her to do list and actually works very well under pressure.
We hope you enjoy this episode of getting to know her. To join her every week, subscribe to this podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, RadioPublic, Breaker, Pocketcasts or on the Anchor app so you don’t miss out when she drops a new episode!
