Over the weekend I read two long form articles listing those men assassinated or a listing of those attempts to murder candidates during their presidential runs for President of the USA.

Talia Lavin weighed in HERE.

Talias X followers are chuckling 🤭 over the “Missed Connections” title of her article.

I am certain this is just the beginning of a glut of think pieces and video reports depicting those targeted during political campaigns.

I would encourage the editors and writers to include Joseph Smith in their storytelling.

Snopes tried to debunk the idea of Joseph Smith being an actual serious candidate, but the article actually proved that his anti slavery platform was very popular with the people.

I would hope everyone who cares about real history would gently push back against these narratives being crafted and demand that the murder of Joseph Smith be included in the listing of political situations where murder was used to deprive the citizenry of their President of choice.
