S2E2: Crossroads Dumpster fire Dawson forgets Pacey’s birthday, invades Joey’s privacy and suffers no consequences. Jen is still sad but her burgeoning romance with Abby makes Alice and Megan giddy. The co-hosts talk ethical non-monogamy and Megan confesses to accidentally reading her new boyfriend’s diary.
S2E1: The Kiss. In the season 2 premiere, Jen realizes she's a minor character on a teen drama and has a breakdown. Joey and Dawson engage in some bad kissing and upsetting heteronormative behaviors, Pacey and Andie have a meet cute, and Megan has a major water-related revelation.
S1E13: Decisions. It's the season one finale! Jen loses her grandpa to a mystery sleep illness, Joey and Dawson dance around their "will they/won't they" plot line, and Pacey bribes a state official. Alice and Megan talk about a high school project they did on cotton for some reason.
S1E12: Beauty Contest. It’s pageant week in Capside! Joey makes her infamous singing debut, Pacey becomes a reluctant advocate for men’s rights (at Dawson’s behest, naturally), and Jen and Joey share some intimate moments before Jen loses her g-d mind. Alice and Megan lament Capside’s rampant transphobia, share their advice for today’s youth, and Alice walks us through exactly what went wrong when Joey took the stage.
On this week's spooky Friday the 13th(?!?) episode, Alice and Megan are thoroughly creeped out by causal reactions to intimate partner violence, face-touching, and men who don't respect women's explicitly-stated boundaries.
S1E10: Double Date. Jen *finally* goes on a date with cliff, and Megan swoons. Dawson worms his way in between them, and yells at her at the top of a ferris wheel. Pacey develops some unrequited feeling for Joey during a snail project, and Alice considers calling the cops on Mitch. Oh, and Megan and Alice realize how poorly this show does on the Bechdel test. Yikes.
S1E9: Roadtrip. Jen helps Joey get revenge on a bro, and then share a SUPER ROMANTIC moment together. The Dawson and Pacey forget that Billy hates them, and the trio take the longest ferry ride ever. Alice reveals to Megan that she lettered in choir.
Jen struggles to maintain good boundaries while traveling through a universe that does not obey basic laws of space and time in this bonkers episode written by 4 people who have apparently never studied physics or watched Dawson's Creek.
S1E7: Detention. Nothing happens in this terrible breakfast club rip-off and yet somehow everyone's lives are BURNED TO THE GROUND. Alice and Megan diagnose the school psychopath, explore whether romance is gendered, and make plans to play guess-my-butt.
S1E6: Baby. Alice and Megan think of 10,000 alternatives to letting a racist neighbor and three teenagers deliver your baby. They also start questioning the governance of Capeside, and why the Superintendent is ruling on child abuse cases.
