Jens Rossen | The Definitely Infinite

The Glow of Wires is the eighth episode in The Definitely Infinite. Surrounded by wires and cables connecting basses, guitars, keyboards, and microphones...had to share them almost equally in this one. After all, it is the month of giving.

Stitching the Ditches is the seventh episode in The Definitely Infinite. Bouncing along in my own tunnel vision I'm reminded at times the spontaneity of a pursuit may reside in the once discarded. Enjoy the entanglement while working back and forth until the bits suddenly fit...

Wrinkle in Time is the sixth episode in The Definitely Infinite. "I drove up past Los Angeles a few weeks ago for a quick four hour session with drummer Austin Wrinkle. We first set out 5 toms to serve as the rhythm anchor to an open ended series of intersecting compositions I had loosely prepared. The tablas came in later and perfectly jelled with the session's late night mood...The last time Austin and I collaborated was about 10 years ago so it was exciting to work on this podcast!" - Jens Rossen. Dengang Var en Sang is the fifth episode in The Definitely Infinite. Some of the sincerest and thankfully not "lost" vocal sessions that I've been involved in during the last 10 years as a bassist/song-writer and producer...Track one features the singer Natascha Schalau and Michael McGinty on additional keys. Track two is with the ICOF sessions vocalist Hallie Johnston with Cochemea Gastelum on flute and Austin Wrinkle on percussion. Track three is a b-side Jens Rossen track with Luis Soraire on additional guitars and backup vocals. Track four is the unreleased ICOF vocalist Eli Corson with FM Watson on classical guitar. Track five is the Baked Beans' Henrik Vestergaard on vocals, harmonica, and guitar. Track six is Luis Soraire on vocals, guitar, and percussion. Although these remixes do abandon The Definitely Infinite "regularly scheduled programming" overflowing hard drives were pleading...

Umbilicus Electronicus is the fourth episode in The Definitely Infinite. I plugged the lifeline for this episode into a sea of swirling bleep beats and synths. The pulse is shared...

Human Directional is the third episode in The Definitely Infinite. From the corners of my musical worlds the signs pointed me to get back on the bass and keys. I grabbed some guitars for support and hit the skins to report the groove toying with my mind toying with the groove...enjoy!
