Day 236 | Jeremiah 32:1–33:26; Ezekiel 26:1-14
While imprisoned and with Jerusalem under siege, Jeremiah obeys God’s unusual command to buy a field from his cousin — land he will never use in his lifetime. This prophetic act, sealed and stored away, was God’s message to His people that they would one day return and once again own property in the land. Jeremiah’s obedience in a hopeless situation became a living sign of God’s faithfulness and a call for us to live in a way that points others toward hope.
Hosts: Tanya Franks; Michael Pritchard
