Intimacy is more than being in the same room. Being around Jesus is not guarantee that you are in close relationship, it's no guarantee of getting the satisfaction or the benefits of the relationship.

Introduction and non verbal communication.

What does it do to the human brain when you become accustomed to only gaining information 15 to 30 seconds at a time. Is it possible that cell phone use has created an issue with communication in our lives? Did you know that the average company has changed its ad length to fit the attention span of the average person (8.5 seconds) We've lost the ability to communicate with other people because we are so distracted and disconnected. How does this affect the average Christian's prayer life and focus on God?

The church is filled with people who simply attend church. The church is filled with people who call themselves Christians but their lives look nothing like the believers found in the book of Acts. We have lost our purpose. God is speaking to a remnant of believers about their identity and his purpose. Do you have ears to hear what the spirit is saying?

Samuel was a national leader and prophet of God. He was used to raise up Saul, Israel's first king. When Saul fell and was rejected by God Samuel was deeply effected. The bible says that Samuel mourned Saul constantly. God spoke to Samuel, how long will you mourn Saul (your past)? How long will you refuse to MOVE FORWARD in you call?
