On this week's podcast, Pastor Jeremy challenges us to Fear Not, as we continue on with our first series of the year. We are reminded that when we walk with God, it is impossible to fail. Although we live in a world that is overwhelming, filled with anxieties, uncertainty, and "quick fixes" that often fall short, Jesus gives us only one answer: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Matthew 11:28-30. Through this, we are simply reminded that in the darkness of uncertainty, hope gives us the ability to move forward. When we focus on Jesus, we also focus on hope. In life, it can be easy to find ourselves trying to move Gods plan along in our own timing or fall back from His will when we become burnt out. Let us focus our eyes on Him with anything, and continue to follow these 4 steps:
1) Believe
2) Abide
3) Follow
4) Repeat
