As we continue our "Letting Go" series, Pastor Jeremy Johnson discusses the cunning ways of Jezebel through pride, which often fuels the greatest works of the Jezebel spirit. When pride is in our midst we quickly see that even the slightest amount of it is too much as it completely distorts God's best for us.

Compromising with pride in our lives is destructive because it causes us to wear ourselves out through self sufficiency, rather relying on God, the one who is able to sustain us. When we humble ourselves to the Word of God, pride begins to leave. We then make room for God to grant us His grace to live in a greater abundance of His presence as we release control to Him.

What could be if we became a people that followed the humility of the Savior? Imagine if our desire was, "God, empty me out and fill me with you." An outpouring of God's grace would be upon us and the glory of the Lord would be our heart's greatest delight.
