In this new sermon series titled "Sons of Thunder, Daughters of Zion," Pastor Jeremy Johnson discusses what it means to live in the adoption of Christ. In this world we are slaves to whatever we allow lordship over our lives. Instead of living under the control of fear, we should walk in the sonship given to us as children of God. A revelation of our inheritance in Christ changes how we live our lives day to day.

Once we begin to see God as our father, and not just our savior, we begin to unlock the promises and blessings bestowed to us. It is this shift in perspective that we go from a lifestyle of slaves to sons and daughters of God. Then, we walk in freedom, understanding the bloodline of Christ brings fullness of life and joy. In God there is no more striving, but rest in the assurance that as His children we have all we need in Him.

When we are rooted and established in God's love we can truly live in God's sonship. With the Holy Spirit in our lives, He transforms us. It is then that we receive an understanding of the wonders of His love- how wide, how high, and how deep it is for us. It is in His love that we become more like Him and begin to walk differently because we know we are direct heirs to God Almighty.
