In this weeks message from Pastor Jeremy Johnson, "Patriots in the New World" we dive deeper into what it means to fast. Our relationship with God is like a marriage, we have to constantly rekindle our flame with God and seek a deeper relationship with Him, and a fast is an amazing way to set aside the time to do just that!

The Lord wants to prune us of the parts of ourselves that don't bear fruit (fruits of the spirit). He will even prune us of the parts that do bear fruit, because he wants to give us MORE! Hindsight is 20/20, we often look at things from our past and we can now see why God allowed us to go through things, it's because there is more ahead of us!

Allow God to be the gardener of your life this year. Invite Him in to prune the good and the bad, so that He can bless you abundantly more! It's in those moments of pruning that we grow closer to Him, only if we lean on Him.
