EPISODE 59 - AUTHOR GERALD GREENE (NEW BOOK RELEASED CALLED "HEART TOWARDS HOME"

Biography

Singer/Songwriter, Gerald Greene has been on the music scene for many years. From being a session drummer to eventually stepping behind the microphone and singing. Greene sang standards throughout clubs in Manhattan. One night, a friend asked Greene to sing one of the songs he was working on, an original composition. Being well aware that the band would not know the piece, Greene knew if he were to attempt to sing it, it would have to be acapella; he did...the audience love it AND him!!! He still sang standards but would always arrange to have one or two originals in his act. His style is R&B, although traces of the late, great Marvin Gaye are ever-present, the mastery of Gerald Greene's originality still shines through.

“Let Me Be A Vessel” is a collection of God given song lyrics of life’s challenges, hopes, faith and worship that speak to the “broken vessels” in all of us. This book contains bible verses for you to read that relates to some of the the songs. It also has pages for you to write your thoughts based on what you’ve read.

EPISODE 57 - AUTHOR L'VETTE SONAI

Few people gain access behind the gates of the rich and famous, and sometimes infamous. Those that do find that things are not always as they seem. In the first of the series, the author of The Mulholland Diaries invites you into the exclusive world that she once-upon-a-time engaged in up close and personal. L'vette Sonai lives in Nashville with her husband.

L'vette Sonai was raised in Milwaukee, WI and is a romance novelist, freelance writer and poet. She hails from a family of entertainers including musicians, songwriters, dancers, actors and visual artists. A former fashion model, L'vette's first creative love has always been the literary arts. Her favorite writers are F. Scott Fitzgerald and poetess Maya Angelou.

The Mulholland Diaries, which has been described as a modern day Valley of the Dolls, is L'vette Sonai's first published novel. The second installment of the Mulholland Diaries series along with a book of poems and short stories are coming soon.

Qiana Rae was born in Gary, Indiana, to a two-parent household in which she saw and experienced more than most kids could've handled. Later on during her childhood, her parents divorced, and she had a hard time adapting, putting a lot of her feelings to paper. During this time, she found that writing was her passion, and no matter what was going on around her, this put her in an entirely different state of mind, making her feel both complete and content. She began writing short stories and poems at the age of nine and continued to do so throughout her teenage and adolescent years. Although Qiana Rae didn’t have the most conventional childhood, she never let that hinder from from doing anything she knew she was capable of. She used what she learned during those trying years as motivation to pursue everything she wished to do in life and provide a better life for her and her family.


After several years of writing, never thinking of publishing her work, she finally decided to step out in the public eye, and allow others, besides herself, to enjoy her talent. She published her first book, Tempted, in September of 2012, and soon after, published its sequel, Repercussions in February of 2013. After realizing how much the public enjoyed her work, she decided to continue publishing her works and would soon be on the road to becoming a well-known Erotica Fiction author.



Although she writes works of fiction, she is able to combine experience and imagination in a way that her characters become real to the reader. Her goal with every piece of work that she stamps her name on is for the reader to not be able to put it down until they get to the final page that reads "The End".

Harlem's Day Out is the first of the Harlem Dream Series. It is a book for kids that will teach about family, friends, sharing, love for self and others. Harlem is a fun, loving 4 year old and she enjoys life.
