This week on the podcast we have a plethora of comic book, television, and movie news to discuss. Death of Daredevil arc will begin with issue #609, and we have the first images of Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. The Captain Marvel trailer has us losing our minds and Disney's CEO has some big news concerning the Star Wars franchise. This season's of Marvel's latest Netflix series, Iron Fist, was only 10 episodes long, and Rob and Kris both binged watched the season to give you a full break down of their favorite and least favorite moments from the show. However, before that, the two discuss the big news of Henry Cavil no longer being Superman, and what this may mean for the DC cinematic universe. Jason Todd and Dick Grayson are living together in DC's TV show Titans? The Krew also talk about comic book heroes and storylines getting new or ongoing mini-series and lastly answer one of YOUR fan questions. On this week's episode, we announce the newest addition to the Jersey Comic Krew family, as Michael Moran will be joining up as a producer. We also get into a great discussion on the future of the Guardians of the Galaxy comic book, returning in January of 2019, with the possibility of new team members and Dave Bautista (a.k.a Draxx the Destroyer) possibly not returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Krew also discuss who will direct the first episode of DC's Swamp Thing. Carrie Fisher and her role in the next Star Wars Movie, and our reactions to the first images of Captain Marvel. In our latest episode, Kris discusses his experience Terrificon, one of Connecticut's biggest comic book conventions. The two then discuss a bunch of news and updates, including HBO ordering a full series for the Watchmen Spin-off for 2019! Lauren Cohen will be leaving The Walking Dead after Season 9. CW's Arrow is so dark and gritty in season 7 that they had to bring in sensors, and Thanos' Black Order will have their own mini-series. Also, in our Comic Book Break Down, the Krew discuss Infinity Wars #2, Extermination #1, Justice League #6 and Batman issues #51-53! Kris has returned from Boston Comic Con and fills us in on his experience talking with some of our favorite comic book creators, including an interview with Peter Tomasi.
