Olu played for Bishop O'Byrne High School in Calgary Alberta.

He also played club basketball with CYDC basketball, and prep basketball with CTAWEST.

Olu is currently attending Ohio U in a D-1 scholarship with a 3.5 GPA. He has one and only one hobby and that's HOOPING!

His goal is to begin to live all his dreams in real life, and in all aspects of his life.

High School and Prep School Experience

⁃Played 3 years at Notre Dame and graduated there averaging about 20/10. Was honoured to be named first team all star in the National Prep Association (NPA).

⁃Did 1 prep year at Edge school with coach Adam Huffman averaged about 20/10 a game w/ a first team all star in the NPA.

⁃Graduated with a 4.0 gpa with numerous academic honours.

University Experience

⁃Committed and attended University of Missouri Kansas City.

⁃Transferred to University of Maine and have spent 2 seasons there averaging 4 points and 3 rebounds in first season after COVID.

Fofo's goals include:

Becoming a lawyer and having my own law firm some day. Opening my own gym in Regina and building youth programs for basketball. Starting a fund to support those in my community who need help financially to help support their dreams of athletics.

Fofo's hobbies include:

Hanging out with my dog coco, cooking, exploring nature, going to art galleries, family time, movies, and travelling.

Meet Donato (DJ) Joseph and let's get to know his incredible journey!

DJ made the tremendously mature decision to leave the comfort of home in Calgary, Ab in the pursuit of his dream to play basketball in the USA. He left home as a young man full of drive but had to develop sustainable habits for success. DJ had to forgo his innocence of childhood for the riggers of discipline to make it happen. DJ bet on DJ!

Hobbies are watching movies and playing video games.

Meet Olivia Furlan a 7 time lifetime National Championship winner. That is truly what Olivia is, a WINNER! Every coach is looking for athletes that are winners because they fit every programs culture and make positive changes just with their presence.

Olivia grew up in Calgary, Alberta playing Jr. Dino's volleyball and for other grassroots programs. She played 5 years for UBC as a setter where she helped win 2 Usport national championships. Olivia graduated from the political science program and is currently playing pro volleyball in Trento, Italy for Argentario volley.

Olivia's hobbies include fly fishing, being outside, eating pasta and being late.

Moreau Darlington has been on a journey! As a Calgary kid full of potential but striving to find life on his terms to a disciplined University Athlete, it's been a pleasure to watch and participate in his growth. Listen in to hear how being at Athlete Institute changed him and showed him the blueprint.

Please welcome Sarah Burnell to the show. We discussed a variety of topic from what it was like growing up playing basketball in rural Alberta, moving to the city in the middle of high school, what university recruiting was like and all the way up to playing USport for SMU in Halifax. Sarah is a self proclaimed nerd and is studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics as well trying her best to spend as must time in the outdoors being active. Welcome Sarah!!
