Jessica L. Morris has spent over thirty years working in the field of higher education advancement, but has always been a writer, poet, and most importantly, follower of Jesus Christ. For the last twenty-five years, her life has been transformed through recovery from the family disease of alcoholism, as well as her own addictions to food and alcohol – a transformation that has led her to a relationship with Jesus that fulfills every nook and cranny of her soul. She holds a master’s degree in theological studies and a certificate in spiritual direction, both from Moravian Theological Seminary in Bethlehem, Pa. Since graduating, Jessica has been building a small spiritual direction practice and sharing her writing via a blog on her website. In the fall of 2024, she took a leap of faith and left her career in fund-raising to set out on the journey of building a writing ministry to serve God. Jessica resides in Pennsylvania with her husband of sixteen years, and their charmingly overconfident cat.
