We got some new music to review and discuss for New Music Friday. And we also got books to review, as we discuss the most memorable books in literature of the 2010s.

Rock and heavy metal takes 2019 by storm with some bands releasing singles and albums after long hiatuses, while other bands miss the mark. The Emmys are coming on Sunday, which marks the start of the fall television season. We also need to talk about Dancing with the Stars. Also, YouTube drama channels are ruling 2019 with their continuing coverage of the beauty community and friendships were ruined in the process. All this in more coming on Jessica's Show!

On this episode of Jessica's Show, we review the latest music releases. In our weekly television update, Jessica talks about the recent happenings in television. Jessica also notices a trend in television, film, music, and on the social media airwaves when it comes to faith. Several figures in the Christian circle are either questioning or leaving the faith and many people have opinions about it. In addition, during an episode of The Bachelorette, faith came into the issue in regards to sexuality. Bachelor Nation became divided after the episode. Jessica also notices a trend in sports where cancel culture becomes prominent.

Originally, I was going to have a segment on Flannery O'Connor, but I decided to move it to a later episode. Possibly because sports became a driving topic that grabbed my attention. Especially since cancel culture is so prominent especially in recent weeks.
