In this episode I will be talking about intimate partner violence or domestic violence in the Hmong community. It also includes my own experience as a legal advocate, bystander, and some words of advice for us who have loved ones going through these experiences as well. In this pilot episode I have a candid conversation with my partner and best friend, Alec Thao about what it is like growing up as a Hmong man in the Hmong community. 

Alec is a 24 year old Hmong-American identified male who grew up in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.  Alec is currently studying to become a physical therapist and is attending Concordia University. He also currently works at Regions hospital as a rehab aide. On his leisure time he enjoys fishing, playing Hmong flag football, and soccer.
