Big tech is getting bigger every day, so this week Joe and Jess speculate about a (hopefully distant) future where corporations operate like governments. (Hellscape hellscape blah blah blah...) While we don't want to live in the 'metaverse' just yet, we find it important to consider the impact and influence of technology on our daily lives and, in particular, on the media that we consume. How do we determine truth from fiction? Can we rely solely on anti-trust laws to protect us? Food for thought!
