Jesus heals the blind, frees the oppressed, and returns to His hometown—only to be met with unbelief. Yet even as rejection surrounds Him, His compassion for the lost remains unshaken. Seeing crowds of confused and helpless people, Jesus declares that the harvest is great but the workers are few. Today’s reading reveals God’s heart for the lost and challenges believers to join Him in reaching the world, beginning with those right in front of us.
