Who doesn't need renewal at this point?! MB and PB break down Psalms 51:10 in four parts; asking Jesus to purify our hearts, renew our spirits, restore us of the joy of His salvation, and grant us all a willing spirit for what's to come. None of us are immune to sin! 

MB and PB chat about Romans 12:12, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." This verse is simple but impactful. Remember, we are only human and this is a journey, so we might not always act accordingly to Romans 12:12, but this is a reminder of how we as believers are set out to respond. Let's remember that our afflictions are merely temporary, to pray through the storms and rejoice because we have hope in Him! 

It's time to wake up, friends! We don’t have time to put Jesus on snooze. As believers, we are called to do things, even when we don’t want to.  It would be the perfect time for us all to accept His wake up call and see what He has in store for us. 

Sometimes it’s so hard to see past the dirty dishes in the sink to reflect on  God's glory outside of your kitchen window. We become so fixated on the problems surrounding us, that we overlook God's beauty. God will reveal himself in due time. Remember...remain steady in Him throughout your journey. 

Who is a blessing to you in your life? Are you a blessing to others? MB and PB discuss how some people have always been a blessing to them, no matter the circumstances. God desires for you to shine your light and be set apart from the world. We hope that you find this message as an encouragement to continue pouring our your love on others. 

Sometimes the struggle is real. Sometimes we face setbacks that we didn't anticipate. These are the moments that help us understand God's glory under the earthly fire. As believers, we are not immune to trials, but we can experience God's glory through our tribulations. We are unable to understand and experience His glory without a blemish. 

Our words can provide hope to others. A small act of encouragement could make or break a loved one. It's easier and in our nature to discourage. Encouraging another person will take time, effort and patience. We are instructed in 2 Timothy 4:2 " encourage with great patience and careful instruction" We should build each other up and choose our words wisely. 

How do we find contentment in a discontent world? It's simple - Jesus. Our lives will change for the better if we put Jesus before anything else.  We will remain in a cycle of discontentment if we put ourselves or other things before Him. Our perspective, our thoughts and our actions will become more Christ-like when we realign our focus. We encourage you to find contentment by pursuing Jesus, not our culture. 

It's so easy to tap into our anger emotion, but it's much harder to show love and kindness. Respect, love and honoring one another are spiritual disciplines we acquire through God. It's not always easy to bite our tongues, but showing and responding in Christ's love is bigger than being correct. Remember to generate love in all that you do!

Are you gripping God harder than your circumstances? It's only human for us to grip our circumstances over the power of our God. God's grip on us doesn't waiver. He's our seatbelt when our roller coaster life seems out of control. God's got you even when you loosen your grip on Him.
