When a desperate Gentile woman begs Jesus to heal her daughter, His response seems harsh—but her faith reveals a deeper truth. Jesus came first to the Jews, yet His mercy extends to all who believe. Later, He feeds a crowd of 4,000 Gentiles, showing that the Bread of Life is for everyone. Today’s reading celebrates the moment Jesus opened the door of grace to the nations and proved that no one is beyond His reach.
