At Christmastime, many people turn their minds to the incarnation, Jesus being born as the God-man. But why did he come? Why was he born as a human being? The Bible tells us that he did so, so that he would forge a new way for humanity to be righteous, to provide a way of salvation. He calls anyone and everyone who wants to be saved, made righteous, holy, to trust in him, and have eternal life as a gift, by faith alone.
