All of Israel waited for the Messiah but few sent out to seek the Messiah. Of the hosts who were made aware of the Messiah’s arrival who were they that found Him & how did they find Him? Will you search diligently for Jesus?

Luke 2:27

Simeon was a faithful man. The Spirit prompted him in hope to see what the Spirit promised him. To see the Messiah before he died. Good thing he went to church that day or he would have missed the Messiah. It is best to settle in our minds “I Think I’ll Go to Church”.

Luke 1:63

Zacharias was a man of tradition and customs, but it lead him to being smote mute by the Angel of the Lord after doubting the miracle of him and his wife having a son. When the day came to name his son Zacharias did not let tradition get in the way of truth & obeyed the Lord in naming his son John & the Holy Ghost came upon him & began to prophesy.

Luke 17:10

Romans 12:1

Jesus said we are “unprofitable servants”. This is counterproductive to a society interested in profit margins. Some may say “God requires too much” but the truth is that the life of an Unprofitable Servant is Reasonable. God is never asking above or beyond reason.

Mark 2:1

Where is Jesus? Do you know where to find Him? We must have him in our House of Worship & House of Living. When Jesus was in the house it was noised abroad and people from everywhere filled the place. People were healed and miracles happened.

We must arrive to a place where our desire to see Jesus surpasses our desires of all else. For only Jesus can meet all of our needs. We must go after Him & see Him.

Matthew 18:11-12

Jesus stated His purpose to save the lost & then asked the disciples “How think ye?” or “How do you think?”. I hope we value 1 soul as Jesus does. People are more prone to search out their lost pet than their lost neighbor.

Genesis 1:26

From the very beginning of creation God gave man dominion over the world. Now we live in a world by which we are dominated. We must know our origin of intended purpose or we risk living a life without ever fulfilling our purpose.

John 9:25

The blind mind that received his sight was asked how he was healed. He could not really explain it other than “I was blind, but now I see”. He didn’t get it, but he got it. We cannot always explain or totally understand the ways of God we have experienced.

Ephesians 6:19-20

Putting the whole armor of God on is of no use if we don’t put it to use. Prayer is the most respected & most neglected. The armor is not for display, it is for the battlefield. We must put on the armor in prayer as we set out into each day. A life without prayer is absent of spiritual victory.
