Jesus for Everyone

My response to last week\'s events at the Capitol.

Hope in the face of loss

These stories of the birth of Jesus aren’t distractions, but focus on the very tangible economic, social and political realities that people are suffering through.

Stories rooted in a people's longing for liberation and justice

Political implications of the Christmas stories

Liberation from believing that we are less than those at the top of the privilege structures in our society.

Community unity founded on the sociological phenomenon of scapegoating.

Healing beings with a preferential option for those harmed.

Turning the narrative of rejection and scapegoating around.

Not just an 'only pray' parable.
