This message begins a new series in Hebrews by lifting our eyes to the central truth of the book: Jesus is better. Drawing from Hebrews 1, Scripture reveals Christ as God’s final and greatest revelation—the eternal Son, creator and sustainer of all things, the exact imprint of God’s nature, and the One who has made full purification for our sins. As the original audience faced pressure, suffering, and the temptation to drift back to what was familiar, God’s Word calls them—and us—to see the supremacy of Jesus and to find true satisfaction in Him alone. When life feels uncertain or unsatisfying, Hebrews reminds us that everything we need is found in Christ, who reigns on the throne and is worthy of our trust, worship, and allegiance.
