Faith in the Promise Giver

Scripture: Hebrews 11:17-19; Genesis 22:1-18

We can exhibit faith in our promise making God through three intentional responses exemplified by Abraham.

1. Faith believes the Promise Giver’s word. (V.17-18

)2. Faith trusts the Promise Giver’s power. (v.19a)

3. Faith receives the Promise Giver’s provision. (19b)

3 Application Questions:

1. Do you know the promises God made to you in His Word?

2. Whose power are you trusting in for living today? For eternity?

3. God has provided His only begotten Son for you. Have you trusted in Christ for salvation?
