Jesus’ authority has been a major theme through Mark’s Gospel. In today’s passage we read of the Jewish leaders directly questioning Jesus’ authority over them and the temple practices. People are still questioning the authority of Jesus today. This morning’s passage will give us insight as to why and how we should respond.
