Have you had blessings in your life that just fill you up with joy? You can’t help showing it, can you? Pastor Daniel encourages you today to do something with those blessings – the same thing God asked of the Israelites – bless someone else! God instructed His people to be kind to a nation they may consider their enemy – to buy food and water from them. It may not have seemed like a grand gesture, but it was a way to honor the Lord!

Is that comforting to you – that God knows where your life is heading? It should be – there’s an intelligent and loving Creator out there who knows you exactly as you are. And He wants you to be blessed as you follow Him! Today Pastor Daniel reminds you to look back on what the Lord has done in your life up to this point. Have you seen Him move in mighty ways? Has He brought you through tough times? Then trust Him – He’ll continue to do the same!

Faith isn’t easy. It’s just not – because you have to believe that something’s going to happen that you can’t fathom. You can’t see the next step, and you have to wait for…and trust. Pastor Daniel will be starting a series in the book of Deuteronomy today, reminding you of a time when Israel had to have deep faith in their Creator - their Rescuer. They needed to remember what He had done in the past as they believed He would fulfill what He’d promised!

When you think about Christians who don't think the same way you do, does this sound impossible? What about Christians who don't vote the same way you do? It's like Jesus knew that our biggest need was for him to pray for unity—because of course he did know. Jesus prayed for you and for me that we would find unity and that our unity would be a witness to the world of who he is. It might be time to change how we speak about each other.

Pastor Daniel is going to open up the book of John and discover a prayer that Jesus prayed for you and for me. Before the creation of the world, Jesus knew you would be hearing this message today. He knew right where you would be. And he knew exactly what you would need to hear. This prayer is for you. Jesus thought of you while he was in a physical body and he prayed for you! Pastor Daniel is going to share a Psalm of David with us today. This particular Psalm is called a Psalm of penitence. David knows he messed up. But as you read his words you will see that hiding his sin from God caused even more pain. It drained the life from David. If you have unconfessed sin today, don't make the same mistake David did. Bring your sin to God and confess and join in the happiness of being forgiven!

There is only one place to find real and lasting happiness. Only Jesus can make you happy for more than a moment. We search for happiness in all the wrong places—in relationships, in drugs, in alcohol, in shopping or gambling, or in money. But Pastor Daniel is going to show us today through a Psalm of David that happiness is found when your sins are forgiven. If you haven't experienced that, bring your sins to Jesus right now today!

There is no one more relatable than the main characters in the Bible! They had anger management problems, lust problems, fear problems, problems with compromising, and problems with humility. The heroes of the faith became heroes not because they were so great but because God is so great. You serve the same great God who can overcome all of your shortcomings. Watch what he can do when you give your life to him!

Today Pastor Daniel is going to take a look at who our true God is. Is it the God of the Bible—the one who created everything and holds everything together and works all things together for your good? Or is it a god of your own making, who does what you want when you ask? Sometimes the true God tells us no. Or he tells us to wait. What will you do at the moment when the true God confronts the imaginary one you've created for yourself?

Pastor Daniel is digging into the Song of Solomon today, where Solomon is describing the beauty of the one he loves. God created beautiful things and he made people beautiful and it's not wrong to admire them! We were created with an eye for beauty! And we can honor God as we appreciate it.
