Have you ever borrowed something and kept it so long that you forgot that it wasn’t yours to begin with? Well, today, Pastor Daniel reminds you that you’re probably doing that same thing to God. Integrity. Deep down, we long to be seen as someone who will do what is right even when it’s hard or unpopular. But, God wants to be at the center of everything. When you integrate your faith into every aspect of your world, God will help and guide you so that you can be a person of integrity.

Comfort. It’s that favorite chair, the one with the grooves worn in it from years of use. People, especially in this culture, long to be comfortable. However, as Pastor Daniel shares today, that’s not always what is good for you. Sometimes it feels safer to cling to your own issues and hurts rather than to let God into those parts of your life. But God wants more for you than this false comfort. He wants you to see yourself as He sees you- a beautiful work in progress.

Waiting is hard. And living in a culture so used to immediate responses makes it even more difficult. Today, Pastor Daniel encourages you to wait for God to follow through on the things He’s promised. As hard as it may be to sit in the unknown, God is faithful to follow through on what He says He’ll do. And, as you’ll discover, taking things into your own hands never ends well. It’s worth it to be patient. God will come through for you.

Obedience can be forced, but not love. It must be freely given. Today, Pastor Daniel echoes this idea as he begins the series “Camp” in the book of Numbers. Throughout this study, you will see how God always lets the Israelites choose if they will love and serve Him or go their own way. You see, God wants His people to follow Him because they choose to, not because He’s making them. He wants you to be assured of His love and to love Him in return.

Today, Pastor Daniel reminds you that God has made you like Him, with the freedom to decide your path. You’ll learn that because you have a free will, God says you can choose not to praise Him. And though the rest of Creation will always worship its Creator, God wants you to come to Him because you love Him.

If shown some different logos, you’d probably be able to name the brand they represent. That’s because the logo’s purpose is to help you recognize the product. Today, Pastor Daniel says that a life lived in the reality of God’s presence should be pretty recognizable too, especially in the area of generosity. You’ll discover that a follower of Jesus wants to share their gifts with others. Knowing that God’s given you these gifts encourages you to use them.

Proverbs says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Today, Pastor Daniel echoes this when he shares that fearing God marks a life lived with Christ at the center. But fear isn’t just being scared of judgment. It’s also a protection. In any meaningful relationship, you don’t want to do anything that would hurt those you love. In this way, the fear of the Lord honors God and keeps you from making a big mess of your life.
