A good parent gives their children boundaries to protect them and help them grow. In the same way, God gives you limits so that you won’t hurt yourself or others. Today, Pastor Daniel says God isn’t some kind of cosmic party pooper who doesn’t want you to have fun. No, the reality is that God loves you and doesn’t want you to experience the excruciating pain and consequences that come from living a life without boundaries.

“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.” Not only is this Bible song a favorite of many children, but, as you’ll hear today, it contains a message that God wants you to take to heart. As you continue in this study of Leviticus, Pastor Daniel urges you to keep the fire of your heart burning brightly. Just like one of the temple priest’s primary roles was to keep the sacrificial fire going, God wants you to keep your heart open and warm to him.

“Stretching the truth”, “laying it on thick”, “pulling the wool over someone’s eyes”. At some point, maybe even daily, everyone lies. And as much as we may gloss over what we’ve done, falsehood can be a big problem in our lives. Today, Pastor Daniel shares that God wants you to be free of falsehood by being honest with yourself and others about your lies. Not only will this lead to peace and change, but your relationships will grow too.

It’s happened to everyone at some point. All the sudden someone is mad at you and you have no idea what you did wrong. Well, today, Pastor Daniel shares that God also holds you accountable for wrongs, even if you didn’t know you did them. However, unlike people, God doesn’t give you the cold shoulder. Instead, Pastor Daniel reveals that God made a way to restore your broken relationship even before your failures happened.

Pastor Daniel will continue to give you some practical advice for evangelizing. It doesn’t have to be complicated – you can just ask questions! Pastor Daniel will also remind you that you don’t have to jump right in and share the Gospel message with each answer you get back, too. Let the conversation happen as it will, but always be listening for the prompting of the Holy Spirit. You’ll know when it’s time to say more if you’re letting Him lead!

Serving other people is an excellent way to share the Gospel! In today’s message, Pastor Daniel will share how sacrificial acts of service have the potential to spark conversations you might not get to have otherwise. People are naturally curious when someone goes out of their way to do something good, as most of the world tends to keep to themselves. Be Jesus hands and feet to your neighbors, and tell them who you serve when they ask!

Evangelism should never be a way that you tear other people down, but sadly, that’s common. Too many people are telling the good news of the salvation while shaming those who don’t believe it. Pastor Daniel wants to remind you in his message today that this isn’t the way Jesus went about saving people, and it can’t be your tactic either. After all, God is the Great Physician, interested in healing the wounds of sin, not inflicting them.

No one is perfect, but there’s a pull to try to do all things as accurately as possible! That can include your work, your family life, and even how you share the Gospel message. Today, Pastor Daniel will encourage you to let go of that stress! All you need to do is tell people about the only perfect person who ever lived – Jesus! He did the hard work long ago when He hung on a cross. Now, you just get to introduce others to Him!

Sometimes, you just don’t feel like following Jesus. It’s not unusual. Pastor Daniel will even share today that he isn’t always compelled to read the Bible or worship. But he’ll also remind you that when you choose to do those things anyway, God shows up!
