Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Culture tells you to shift the blame for your problems. They tell you to point to social injustice, or poor upbringing, or whatever takes the focus off of yourself. This isn't God's opinion, though, and Pastor Daniel will point out today that it isn't the truth at all! You and every other person on the planet, no matter who they are, must take the blame for our own sins! Everyone is sinful, and everyone is in need of a Savior, each and every day!

Many people struggle with the concept that God is judgmental. You too may have difficulty accepting this truth. Today, though, Pastor Daniel will remind you that judgment is really the first part of the Gospel message. All have sinned, and that sin is in direct conflict with the perfect Creator of the World. God cannot tolerate sin, and to be who He is, He must be the judge. Pastor Daniel will remind you too, though, that Jesus took the judgment for you!

On your best day, you still need Salvation. You always need Jesus. In today's message, Pastor Daniel will remind you of this fact and encourage you to adopt a posture of humility each and every day. You need to remember that you're sinful by nature, and that there's nothing you can do to change that fact! You also need to remember, though, that you have a great Savior, and that by surrendering your life to Him, you have hope for the future!

Prayer is the communication tool for you to speak with God, the Creator of the world and of you. It's a way for you to get to know Him and to let Him show you how He wants you to live. Prayer is powerful, and it will change you. Today, Pastor Daniel will be asking you some hard questions, specifically how often you spend quality time in prayer! He also suggests that for many people, they're afraid of the change that comes along with it!

Sometimes it's better to just admit when you're wrong. In today's message, Pastor Daniel will share how Jonah responds to being found out in his rebellion, in his sinful state. Many times, people try to shift the blame or make excuses, but Jonah's example is better. You need to own up to your mistakes, especially in front of God. He sees your rebellion anyway, and He knows the whole story! Bring Him your sins, and let Him show you His great mercy!

God always knew what Peter would be doing in the service of the Kingdom. He commissioned Peter long before he met Cornelius and began sharing the Gospel with non-Jewish people. Pastor Dave will share today that this indicates something great for you – God has a plan to use YOU in the Kingdom too!

Every person you meet is a potential follower of Jesus! It doesn't matter who they are or where they're from – Pastor Dave reminds you today that you need to be Jesus to them! It's possible that you're the only Christian they'll meet. Evaluate how you're presenting the Gospel – not just in your words, but also in your actions!

When Jesus says He's the true vine in today's message, He's saying that He's the Messiah, the only hope for the world! Pastor Daniel will dig deeper into this attribute of Jesus character and reveal that He's more than just a caretaker. Jesus is your source of spiritual nutrition. He's the core of who you are and the one who holds you close. He loves you enough to prune away the harmful parts of your life and continue to provide new life!

When you love someone, you don't want to hurt them. You'll do everything in your power to do as they request and to show your devotion to them. The same is true for your relationship with God, and Pastor Daniel will explain more in today's message. If you love God, you'll do as He has asked! Pastor Daniel will encourage you to spend time in the Word, learning about God's will for you, and then live it out in your daily activities!

More than once, the disciples in the Bible just didn't quite get it. They'd been told who Jesus was and they'd seen Him do great things, but the dots just didn't connect. It's easy to fault the disciples for their lack of understanding, but Pastor Daniel will remind you today that it's not that uncommon now either. It's easy to miss the true Jesus when you're only looking for the characteristics you like. Jesus is God, and He is the only way to Heaven!
