The world is very good at getting to you, and the enemy loves to use circumstances to dampen your spirits and harden your heart. Are you focused on supporting the community within your walls, and also taking the good news of Jesus to the world?

Helping other people is part of being like Jesus, but in offering assistance we also want to be wise! All of God's Word needs to be considered for every decision. In today's message, Pastor Daniel will remind us that we can't help someone fully if we're ignoring something God's commanded! The wisdom we'll glean from the Proverbs today will reinforce this, and help us see how integrity and morality is just what this world needs to see!

Our morality on earth has an eternal effect! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will remind us that there's a lot we can get away with while we're living in the world. We can fudge corners and bend rules to get our way, but what is it doing to other people? When we let our morality slip, we're likely hurting someone else! And one day, our Creator and the judge of the world is going to see all we've done, and all those we've wounded!

Can you imagine if you had to be responsible for every function of your body? You had to control your heart beat, your breathing, digestion, and even blinking! There's so much that goes on every second that we couldn't possibly keep track of! Isn't it wonderful then that we have a Creator who IS keeping track? Pastor Daniel will urge us today to allow that fact to encourage our surrendering everything to our loving and perfect God!

We have free will in how we live our lives. God doesn't control every decision and detail of our days – instead, He allows us to make plans and choose directions. Of course, we want to have Him involved in the process! Pastor Daniel will challenge us to look at our plans today and find the areas we haven't invited God to be a part of yet. God can and will help us make better and more fruitful decisions if we allow Him to speak into them!

Before we become sons and daughters of the King of Heaven, we're basically governed by the prince of this world, Satan. He's the father of lies and sin, and until Jesus takes our sins away, we belong to him! Once we're made new through the cross, though, we're not the same people! Pastor Daniel reminds us today that because of this, we shouldn't act as we used to either. We need to make a fresh start, with Jesus as the model we build our life upon!

There's a lot in this world vying for importance in our lives, but what if we could boil down our ambitions to one simple thing?
