We look this week at the famous miracle which took place in Acts 3, at the gate called Beautiful (more commonly known as the Gate of Mercy). Peter did not have silver or gold, but he had Jesus. As Christians, we may not have everything that people request of us, but we do have Jesus, who is even more satisfying (as the lame beggar found out that day at the mercy gate). We also look at the historical significance of this gate where the miracle took place and the important emphasis that Jesus is, in fact, the gate of mercy through which we have access to God. --- Wir sehen uns das berühmte Wunder an, das in Apostelgeschichte 3 an der „Schönen“ Pforte (im Volksmund auch als Tor der Barmherzigkeit bekannt) geschah. Petrus hatte weder Silber noch Gold, aber er hatte Jesus. Als Christen haben wir vielleicht nicht alles, was die Menschen von uns verlangen, aber wir haben Jesus, der uns noch mehr erfüllt (wie der lahme Bettler an jenem Tag am Tor der Barmherzigkeit erfuhr). Wir betrachten auch die historische Bedeutung dieses Tores, an dem sich das Wunder ereignete. Gleichzeitig macht die Predigt deutlich, dass Jesus wirklich das Tor der Barmherzigkeit ist, durch das wir Zugang zu Gott haben.
