Jesus Christ is the head over all things. He is also the head of the body of his followers, as the first to have risen again from the dead. All who trust in Jesus receive a new heart/spirit, and will receive a new body at the general resurrection of the dead when he returns. Anyone who trusts in him can be transformed from our sinful nature to redeemed nature, in effect humanity Mark II, in Christ.
