• Jesus announces that the prophecy of Isaiah 61 has been fulfilled in His arrival and forthcoming ministry.
• Jesus is the fulfillment and focal point of all Scripture.

Jesus is the Final Word of God (Hebrews 1:1-4)

• All other prophets of God were pointing us to the final Prophet who would be God's final Word to us.
• Jesus is supreme in His divine power to create the world, sustain all life, and save sinners.
