As the conclusion to the Gospel According to Mark draws near, Jesus is pleading with his friends to watch and pray as He tells them the imminent fate that is awaiting. Jesus is arrested and Peter is caught in self-persevering denial mode

The Pharisees are ready to arrest Jesus, and one of His closest followers will join the opposition. Peter is proudly proclaiming his permanent position to protect Jesus at all costs, but Jesus predicts Peter's plummet , perfectly.

The Gospel according to Mark takes the reader on a journey into prophecy as Jesus is asked about and gives answers about the "Signs of the Times" and the "End of the Age"
