Ever read a story in the Bible and think, “Girl, I get it!”? Because that’s exactly how I feel about Esther. 👑
In this episode of Jesus, Lately!, we’re diving into the book of Esther and talking about what happens when life hands us more than we can handle on our own.
Some people in the Bible seemed ready to say yes to God without hesitation. Mary said yes to an unimaginable calling, and Ruth faithfully followed her mother-in-law into the unknown. Then there’s Gideon, who needed a little extra reassurance before stepping into what God had planned for him.
And honestly? I can relate to that!
Esther faced something she couldn’t handle in her own strength, so she turned to prayer and fasting before courageously stepping forward in faith.
Sometimes God allows us to face things that are bigger than us because we’re not meant to carry them without Him.
We’re talking about obedience, trusting God’s timing, the power of prayer and fasting, and what happens when we finally stop trying to control everything and give it to God.
Because maybe the answer isn’t trying harder. Maybe it’s trusting Him more. 🤍
“For such a time as this.” — Esther 4:14
What would happen if your company did its annual review and found out 96% of its employees weren’t actually showing up?
We’d call it a disaster. So what does it say when only 4% of adults are living with a truly biblical worldview?
In this episode, we’re talking about what it actually looks like to show up for God. From motherhood, womanhood, our careers, the age of AI, and everyday life.
Not perfectly, but intentionally. Because calling ourselves Christians and actually living like Christians are two very different things.
Jesus, Lately is real talk about following Jesus in a world that makes it really easy not to.
I’m not a pastor, theologian, or perfect Christian. I’m just a mom trying to live out my faith, speak truth even when it’s uncomfortable, and be obedient to what God is asking me to do.
We’ll talk faith, culture, motherhood, everyday struggles, and probably a few things we’re told not to talk about. Let’s figure it out together. 🌸
