Isaiah 9:6 - Today we give attention to the fourth of the titles that our Lord was given in Isaiah 9:6, that is, the Prince of Peace.

What is the reason for calling Jesus the Prince of Peace? By the title, Prince of Peace, God is affirming Jesus as the only One who is capable of bringing mankind true peace.

The word Prince indicates that the Messiah will be a ruler who governs in peace. He will achieve His purposes through methods of peace and carry on His work in a peaceful spirit. What, then, are Jesus’ accomplishments as the Prince of Peace?
