We've been hacking and slashing at each other for years.  Words are our normal weapons but at times physical violence has exploded. Our nation is more divided now than it has ever been and the church is no exception. We need to know the tool of this division if we are to heal from it.

Our culture is presenting a soft, effeminate male as the ideal while a group of bullies have laid claim to the title of "Alpha Male." In a world of beta males and phony alpha males, where does the Real Man stand?

A national talk show host often tells his audience, "Elections Matter." He's right, but there's more at stake here than just who wins office. This election may have eternal consequences but not for why you might think.

We hear them all the time. We may even say them ourselves. Phrases and statements that drip so easily from the tongue usually offered in times of trial or grief. Is it possible that these cliches may actually be doing harm?

College fraternities putting up signs asking fathers to drop off their daughters. Feminists screaming rape culture but in the very next breath advocate for the very root of this modern sexual nightmare.

The people of Laodicea thought they had it all together. They were rich and in need of nothing. Jesus didn't see it that way. Neither hot nor cold, they were lukewarm and the Lord could not tolerate that. His warning to them rings to us now. What does it mean to be hot or cold? Tune in to find out.

Jesus found the church at Philadelphia to be faithful. Certainly, no one describes the modern church that way. Or, in the midst, can faithfulness still found? If Jesus is still speaking to the church today through these seven, who is he talking to with this message?

Everything looked good in Sardis. The church was doing all the right stuff, they had a great reputation and a growing ministry. The only problem was that they weren't really alive. Sound familiar?
