Mindset is something we normally hear from our secular or “New Age” friends. Hear the Words of Romans 8, again, with new ears. That we have this new translation, the Passion Translation, from Aramaic, helps a great deal. Maybe you, like me, once found your King James memorized. Great, but new insights from new translations.

Also, a word about several ongoing controversies.

Then, on to HOW to be a Son of God. We are more than justified. We have Jesus the Messiah/Savior living in us. This empowers us. So,we need to align or subsume our mindset into this direction. We are saved AND empowered. Let’s not leave half un-recieved.

In my eight part series on kinds of prayer, today we come to Thanksgiving and Praise. They are hard to separate, because when we think of how great and good God is, we are thankful.

Using this kind of prayer is a great discipline and helps us. It also allows us to enter in, as Psalm 100 says.

At the end of the track, I mention someone else’s sermon that jogged my thinking to remember how praise was a weapon. That episode should be 4 and one half, while this one should be episode 4.

Our second category of prayer is repentance/contrition. Oh, yes, we think we know all about it. However, we are going to drop some bombshell information. We will destroy some pretty big myths. All with face value Scripture.

This is set us free!  We will no longer be held in bondage either of sin or of wrong expectations. We will have re-opened to us access to God and merit in His eyes.

You know, this prayer series seems fundamental However, I am beginning to see how important the fundamentals are. Are we not told that the Sons of God will be led by the Spirit of God? And how then will we hear, if not by prayer? Do we not revel or at least hope in our authority in prayer?  How is it that we will wield it without thorough knowledge of kinds of prayer?

Do you remember the story about Vince Lombardi, winning-ist coach, who famously trained his winning team starting with: “Gentlemen, this is a football.” Mastery of the fundamentals wins.

I know I typed this out,but I also know you are not seeing. And right now, neither am I.

Anyway, the first category is petition and intercession (which is petition for someone else).

Today, mostly just warm greetings and letting you in on more about what is going on with me.

So very good to hear from some of you. Please keep that coming. Let me know who you are, where you are, and what you are up to. Those of us who know sonship doctrine are a rare breed, but we are not alone. And there should be strength in numbers, yes? And we believe in community, in discerning the Body of Christ, right? Even if we are still learning how to flow together. So, let’s communicate.

God wants total well-being for all children. That means everyone, of course, but I do focus on encouraging mothers whose children have some sort of learning problem. On that site now I have a one-size fits all protocol. Only thing like it I’ve seen. And cheap cheap cheap compared to doctor help — if that is even helpful. Even if you do need it, the protocol will give you the basics and let you know what to ask about.

Today, I cover several scriptures that show our authority IN Christ.  We started out, as humans, given dominion. Then, as disciples of Jesus, we were given authority as we follow Jesus and do His assignment. Then, we see David and Isaiah’s words on our authority. Amazing! Give a listen.

Then memorize the Scripture by meditating.

Then, you will have some real “amunition” in prayer.

A second attempt at unpacking the John 3 passage that meant so much to me. Previous track spoke to Move-informed people. This addresses a wider audience. the whole church.

Again, we see that God loves us, gives us Holy Spirit without limit and all things.

Yet, Christians tend not to receive. Jesus expresses regret about this. He also speaks of coming judgement. Yeah, you are not going to hear this elsewhere.

Wow! Huge revelation to me! Right there in John 3! A doctrine that I wondered about for a long long time. A shaft of light that set me free from the worst of the Move. Here it is, aimed at my Move-informed friends.

God Loves You, Gives You…. ALL THINGS…. WHAT??? No, that is not what we were told.We were told that we were called to a life of death, of laying down the Christ life, of poverty, and no enjoyment. We were led to believe anyone who preached like this must be heart hardened and materialistic.

Quite aside from the possibility that some who preach prosperity are materialistic, what does the Bible really say? I unpack the Scripture today, from face value and what Holy Spirit illumined to me. I get personal, in hopes that it will help other Move and ex-Move friends.

Please let me hear from you. I have pretty much fulfilled my God-given assignment of re-preaching the sonship message. I expected to get a lot more response. Actually, I expected to get lots of hate from those whose income, even if paltry, comes from the power they get in the Move. Maybe I have avoided that? Maybe not quite? Or maybe I have avoided any notice at all. LOL.  Well, please tell me if I am helping you.
