This message was presented during our Student Worship Service on Wednesday night 5/20/2020 at Baymeadows Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. It is the first part of a 2 part series detailing the prayer of Jesus Christ from John 17, also referred to as the High Priestly Prayer. This is a beautiful prayer by our Lord as he prays for His followers to be in perfect unity, even as He and the Father are one. He prays for His followers there (11 disciples) and for the followers to come in the future, meaning us! I pray this helps our students understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as our need to be unified in the perfect love of Jesus with each other as believers, and how that will lead others to salvation. I pray it is a blessing to you and you can see how much God loves us.
