With 15 years of entrepreneurship under his belt, Bryan opens up about the ups and downs of what owning a successful business has meant to him. Not only do we dive deep into the origin story of Anthem Coffee and Tea, but Bryan shares in depth on the journey of growing organically into 7 brick & mortar locations. We talk about the realities of burnout, the importance of fighting for your own rest, and practical ways to lean on your faith through the everyday challenges that come with owning a business. This one has something for everybody!

We made it! For the final episode of our inaugural season, we were joined by the one and only, legend of the World Wide Web, Jon Sweet, and you won't want to miss it! Jon traces the origins of his adventure of “accidentally” becoming a social media influencer. From the first IG post of his dad’s dashboard on a road trip, to gaining over 200k followers seemingly overnight, Jon quickly realized that he had an opportunity! Jon discusses how his faith drives his focus towards people, and causes him to look different within his industry. If you've ever wondered how to monetize your platform on social media, or just like chatter about chest hair and shooting hoops, this one might be for you!

Episode 8 is here, and we are lucky enough to have Quincy Allen in the house! Quincy is a bit of a renaissance man - Realtor, Managing Broker, General Contractor, Aerospace Project Manager, Sewer Contractor, House Flipper, and probably a few others that we are leaving out. Quincy’s unofficially life motto - “why hire someone else when you can learn to do it yourself!?” Quincy speaks about the importance of having a trusting partner, the power of communicating well, and his goal of “retiring” at 35! If you like what we are up to on JTTD, make sure to leave us a review on the platform of your choosing, and as always - the DM’s are open!

It’s the first official JTTD Episode of 2022, and we are thrilled to host Edgewood WA’s longest-standing citizen (may or may not be true), Alex Haisch! Alex has spent a majority of his post-college years managing HOA’s and helping run his family’s electrical company, but today, he speaks honestly and authentically about his most recent season - referred to as “FUN-employment.” We talked in-depth about the power of language, and how the words we say and use can help dictate how we live. We also discuss the memory of a goldfish (shoutout, Ted), Jake and Alex’s seemingly complex friendship, what it means to consider the Lillies, and what’s next for our guest!

It’s a HOUSE PARTY, and you’re invited! In fact, you are the only one invited, because we totally skipped having a guest this episode in honor of bringing in the New Year together! Join your JTTD pals as we journey back in time and touch on each of our previous guests’ stories and highlights. We take the opportunity to field a few questions that have been sent in from loyal listeners, and Jake accidentally Jake’s takes a Jake’s take! So whether you burn a vehicle or toot a horn to take in the New Year, we sure are glad that your bringing us along with you. Enjoy!

This week we have the pleasure of chatting with Western Washington’s resident “chicken mom,” Katie Gruener. Katie and her family own and operate Gruener Farms in Eatonville. Katie walks us through the past decade of her life, from first taking on a few chickens in her backyard, to moving her family onto a full fledged operational farm. Katie speaks openly about the challenges and fears that come with trying new things, and the gifts that come in staying persistent. We talk stewardship, morning chores, staying positive and raising hardworking kids.
Enjoy the first ever segment of Faith First, a small devotional at the end of this episode. Be sure to subscribe and review! Your feedback is always welcomed.

In this week’s episode, we throw some metaphorical logs on the fire with Idaho’s favorite pitmaster - Kyle Deady! Kyle is a family man, dad of 8, Idaho Falls realtor, purveyor of deliciously smoked meats, and faith-forward businessman. We follow Kyle’s story of packing his family of 10 into an RV, and transitioning from Washington to Idaho with big dreams!
