4th Sunday after Epiphany 
Purification of Mary but also the Presentation of Our Lord

Our reading from Luke 2: 22-32 brings us to the temple, where Mary and Joseph come for a simple act of dedication and purification. Yet, in this ordinary moment, God reveals something far greater—Jesus, the Redeemer, the fulfillment of His promise. What they expected was a ritual; what they received was a proclamation of salvation.

Often, we think too small, but God works through the seemingly little things to accomplish His great mission of redemption. As we worship together, we are reminded that Christ is at work in ways beyond what we imagine, bringing restoration and hope to the world.
