Join us as we continue the Bible study The Way of Wisdom. This week we’re looking at what the book of Proverbs says about wealth, work, and leadership. It was personally very convicting and very encouraging!

This week we are going through session 5 of the Way of Wisdom. Wisdom in the home is our topic today and we’ve chosen to focus in on specific areas: marriage and children. Whether or not you’re married, or have children, you’ve been saved into the family of God and can apply these nuggets within that family!

“Proverbs teaches us what a wise person looks like, the gospel empowers us to be that wise person.” This week’s study goes over what wisdom in friendship looks like. We also got to see how only through the Holy Spirit’s empowerment can we live that out. Tune in to our conversation as we share our personal highlights, experiences, and thoughts.

Guest speaker Christine Wavle joins us from Cincinnati, Ohio where she and her husband, Mark, co-lead Equipping Ministries International (EMI). They help Christians around the world develop healthy and resilient relationships with God, themselves, and others. On this first night of our conference, Christine shares about God’s loving design and our identity in Christ. We bear His image and He adores us. We also have an enemy who hates us, and wants to do everything to make us forget whose image we bear and how much God loves us. We must always choose to believe what is true! This is a message we always need to hear!!

One of my favorite ways to spend time with Jesus, is to meditate on one verse. Today we camp out in James 1:19. There is such a cool unfolding of wisdom and application as we sit with and process God‘s word. Tune to hear how to think about and apply each part of this verse!
