Welcome back to In the Word with Malcolm Webber!

Even though Jesus was and is God, He willingly emptied Himself of the “form” of God and the rights of His preexistent glory, and came in the form of a servant, obeying His Father even to the point of the terrible death of the cross. He did this for us; He did not look to His own interests, but to ours, serving us with an extraordinary and perfect example of self-giving love.
