8 ひとりぼっちで、仲間もなく、子も兄弟もない人がいる。それでも彼のいっさいの労苦には終わりがなく、彼の目は富を求めて飽き足りることがない。そして、「私はだれのために労苦し、楽しみもなくて自分を犠牲にしているのか」とも言わない。これもまた、むなしく、つらい仕事だ。
9 ふたりはひとりよりもまさっている。ふたりが労苦すれば、良い報いがあるからだ。
10 どちらかが倒れるとき、ひとりがその仲間を起こす。倒れても起こす者のいないひとりぼっちの人はかわいそうだ。
11 また、ふたりがいっしょに寝ると暖かいが、ひとりでは、どうして暖かくなろう。
12 もしひとりなら、打ち負かされても、ふたりなら立ち向かえる。三つ撚りの糸は簡単には切れない。

2.助け合うために作られている

出エジプト４：１０〜１４

10 モーセは主に申し上げた。「ああ主よ。私はことばの人ではありません。以前からそうでしたし、あなたがしもべに語られてからもそうです。私は口が重く、舌が重いのです。」
11 主は彼に仰せられた。「だれが人に口をつけたのか。だれが口をきけなくし、耳を聞こえなくし、あるいは、目を開いたり、盲目にしたりするのか。それはこのわたし、主ではないか。
12 さあ行け。わたしがあなたの口とともにあって、あなたの言うべきことを教えよう。」

Ecclesiastes 4:8–12 (NIV):

“and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?”
This too is meaningless—
a miserable business!

9 Two are better than one,

1.The Church Is a Place for Everyone

Matthew 5:14–16 (NIV):

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

2.We Are Made to Help One Another

Exodus 4:10–14 (NIV):

10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?
12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
13 But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”
14 Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses, and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you.”

Matthew 26:38 (NIV):

38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

Point One: Jesus offers us peace even in the midst of storms.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Point Two: Storms help us grow.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

1.Filled with God’s power

Acts7:55-56”But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

Acts13:8-11”  But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. 9 Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said,10 “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? 11 Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.”

Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.”

Acts9:18”  Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized,”

5. Overflowing praise and worship. and it releases God’s power

Acts16:25-26” About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.”

6.Pray in tongues

Acts2:4” All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.”

Acts10:45-46” The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.”

1Cor14:15”So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.”

2.神の子供です

3.聖霊は祈りを助けてくださる

ローマ８：２６「御霊も同じようにして、弱い私たちを助けてくださいます。私たちは、どのように祈ったらよいかわからないのですが、御霊ご自身が、言いようもない深いうめきによって、私たちのためにとりなしてくださいます。」

4.聖霊は聖書の理解を深めてくださる　

２テモテ３：１６「聖書はすべて、神の霊感によるもので、教えと戒めと矯正と義の訓練のために有益です。」

5.聖霊は自由を与えてくださる

6.神の愛を私たちにわからせてくれる

２コリント１３：１３「主イエス・キリストの恵み、神の愛、聖霊の交わりが、あなたがたすべてとともにありますように。」

7.成長させてくださる

エペソ３：１６「どうか父が、その栄光の豊かさに従い、御霊により、力をもって、あなたがたの内なる人を強くしてくださいますように。」

２コリント４：１６「外なる人は衰えても、内なる人は日々新たにされています」

8.教会に一致を与えてくれる

エペソ２：１８「私たちは、このキリストによって、両者ともに一つの御霊において、父のみもとに近づくことができるのです。」

2.Children of God

Rom8:14-15” For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.””

3. Holy Spirit helps us to pray

Rom8:26”  In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know 

what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”

4.Holy Spirit deepens our understanding of the Bible

2Tim3:16” All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

5.Holy Spirit gives us freedom.

6. Holy Spirit shows God’s love

2Cor13:14”  May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

7. Holy Spirit help us grow

Eph3:16”  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,”

2Cor4:16” Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”

8. Holy Spirit gives us a unity

Eph2:18” For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.”

1Cor12:13” For we were all baptized by[a] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.”

ヨハネ１４：１６〜１７「わたしは父にお願いします。そうすれば、父はもうひとりの助け主をあなたがたにお与えになります。その助け主がいつまでもあなたがたと、ともにおられるためにです。その方は、真理の御霊です。世はその方を受け入れることができません。世はその方を見もせず、知りもしないからです。しかし、あなたがたはその方を知っています。その方はあなたがたとともに住み、あなたがたのうちにおられるからです。」

2.天地創造において働かれた父、子、聖霊なる神。

ヨハネの１：１〜３「初めに、ことばがあった。ことばは神とともにあった。ことばは神であった。この方は、初めに神とともにおられた。すべてのものは、この方によって造られた。造られたもので、この方によらずにできたもの

は一つもない。」

創世記１：２「地は茫漠として何もなかった。やみが大水の上にあり、神の霊が水の上を動いていた。」

3.大いに働く聖霊

出エジプロ３１：１〜５「主はモーセに告げて仰せられた。「見よ。わたしは、ユダ部族のフルの子であるウリの子ベツァルエルを名ざして召し、彼に知恵と英知と知識とあらゆる仕事において、神の霊を満たした。それは、彼が、金や銀や青銅の細工を巧みに設計し、はめ込みの宝石を彫り、木を彫刻し、あらゆる仕事をするためである。」

士師記６：３４「主の霊がギデオンをおおったので、彼が角笛を吹き鳴らすと、アビエゼル人が集まって来て、彼に従った。」

士師記１５：１４「サムソンがレヒに来たとき、ペリシテ人は大声をあげて彼に近づいた。すると、主の霊が激しく彼の上に下り、彼の腕にかかっていた綱は火のついた亜麻糸のようになって、そのなわめが手から解け落ちた。」

イザヤ６１：１「神である主の霊が、わたしの上にある。主はわたしに油をそそぎ、貧しい者に良い知らせを伝え、心の傷ついた者をいやすために、わたしを遣わされた。」

エゼキエル１：３「カルデヤ人の地のケバル川のほとりで、ブジの子、祭司エゼキエルにはっきりと主のことばがあり、主の御手が彼の上にあった。」

ダニエル６：３「ときに、ダニエルは、他の大臣や太守よりも、きわだってすぐれていた。彼のうちにすぐれた霊が宿っていたからである。彼を任命して治めさせようと思った。」

ヨエル２：２８〜２９「その後、わたしは、わたしの霊をすべての人に注ぐ。あなたがたの息子や娘は預言し、年寄りや夢を見、若い男は幻を見る。その日、わたしは、しもべにも、はしためにも、わたしの霊を注ぐ。」

エゼキエル３６：２７「わたしの霊をあなたがたのうちに授け、わたしのおきてに従って歩ませ、わたしの定めを守り行わせる。」

マタイ３：１６「こうして、イエスはバプテスマを受けて、すぐに水から上がられた。すると、天が開け、神の御霊が鳩のように下って、自分の上に来られるのをご覧になった。」

ヨハネ７：３７―３９「さて、祭りの終わりの大いなる日に、イエスは立って、大声で言われた。「だれでも渇いているなら、わたしのもとに来て飲みなさい。わたしを信じる者は、聖書が言っているとおりに、その人の心の奥底から、生ける水の川が流れ出るようになる。」

使徒２：１〜４「五旬節の日になって、みなが一つの所に集まっていた。すると突然、天から、激しい風が吹いて来るゆな響きが起こり、彼らのいた家全体に響き渡った。また、炎のような分かれた舌が現れて、ひとりひとりの上にとどまった。すると、みなが聖霊に満たされ、御霊が話させてくださるとおりに、他国のことばで話しだした。」

2. God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit worked together in the creation of the heaven and earth. 

John1:1-3”  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

Gen1:2 “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

 3 Holy Spirit was working in the OT. 

Exodus31:1-5” Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.”

Judges6:34 “But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon; then he blew the trumpet, and the Abiezrites gathered behind him.”

Judges15:14” When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting against him. Then the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him; and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds [b]broke loose from his hands.”

Isa61:1” “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to [a]heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;”

Eze1:3”  the word of the Lord came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was upon him there.”

Daniel6:3” Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.”

Joel2:28-29

 “And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

Ezekiel36:27”  I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. ”

Matt3:16” As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.

John7:37-38”On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

Acts2:1-4” When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one 

place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them
