Tonight we will discuss the new Childish Gambino video “This is America”. This video covers a lot of topics that are currently going  on here in America. One can say that this video shows how easily we can be distracted. We have real issues here in America but unfortunately fall into the trap of being entertained rather than really caring about what/how we can change things here in America. 

 

As you can see, over the course of the last two weeks a large focus was on a hip hop artist (Kanye West) and his thoughts. The debates were at hault like gun control, school shootings……..thus tonights topic……..The Art of Distraction

We pay taxes on everything and still see underfunded schools, poor infrastructure and underfunded government services.

Its still cold as hell in parts of America/World and we are starting to ask questions as to why these strange weather patterns are happening. Global Warming? Normal occurrences, who knows but we shall discuss. 

 

Lastly, Conspiracy Theories are what make the world go round, we discuss a few and hopefully get some questions throughout the show. Its all in fun and often lead to some healthy debates.

The new Netflix’s documentary “Flint” is very eye opening and covers a lot of the current topics in Law Enforcement, Politics and the human race. 

 

It shows an honest look at all aspects of community policing from all perspectives. What are some ways that America gets it right, and what are some ways we can improve ?

 

Does the Media amplify tragedy too much causing copycat related events? We tend to see on the news events that are tragic, does this play into the minds of individuals that may think about carrying out one of these events?

 

Last one of the night, most are taught not to judge one another, does society lack empathy?

Tonight we dive into the topic of the Welfare system and the stigma that sometimes follows. Is it a real problem that is plaguing America and its economy? Some think we should regulate what people can buy with Governmental assistance. Tonight we cover both sides of the argument and hopefully get a genuine point of view of each. 

 

 

Gun control is a heated debate after the tragic mass shooting last week. We discuss options and resolutions to the on going debate of gun control. Both parties have dug in on their side of the argument and America is waiting on a honest solution, can it be solved?

I know a lot of  us see smart business men/women giving out tips on how to become successful but often they tend to leave out the fact that they were giving a head start from someone.

 

Would you be able to start a successful venture with a handout?

 

Is it more satisfying to get to where you want to go on your own?

 

Another tragic school shooting and sides are once again divided, gun control or mental health. 

 

Its sad that we don't even get a chance to reflect or mourn the ones that perished before making a political statement.
