JETLAG: Because reality is overrated.

The Jets crushed the Buccaneers in a 52 to 6 blowout, led by backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor who stepped in for the injured Justin Fields and delivered four passing touchdowns plus a rushing score. The defense smothered Tampa Bay with five sacks and three turnovers, keeping them out of the end zone all night. Now sitting at 3 and 0, the Jets head into a pivotal Week 4 showdown against the winless Dolphins, a chance to seize control of the AFC East and push toward ending their long playoff drought.

In a stunning performance dubbed the "miracle in Buffalo," the New York Jets secured a dominant 49-6 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

The Jets' defense set the tone early when Sauce Gardner returned an interception 85 yards for a pick-six. Will McDonald also made a critical play, forcing a fumble that led to another Jets touchdown.

The defense effectively shut down the Bills' offense throughout the game and the offense amassed over 400 total yards and committed zero turnovers.

On September 7, 2025, the New York Jets opened the season with the most dominant performance in NFL history, crushing the Pittsburgh Steelers 78–0.

Justin Fields threw for 526 yards, rushed for 120, and totaled six touchdowns, while Breece Hall piled up 175 rushing yards and two more scores. Garrett Wilson shredded the secondary all afternoon, and the Jets’ defense relentlessly buried Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers, held scoreless in his debut, walked off mid-interview to announce his retirement.

The 78–0 shutout stands as the largest margin of victory the league has ever seen and a statement start for Gang Green.
