The Jets trimmed their roster down from 90 to 53 last night and we're here to talk about some of the decisions that caught us off guard.

The yearly impossible exercise of projecting who the Jets will keep on their 53 man roster has arrived. With two preseason games in the books, we take a stab at getting into the minds of the Jets brass and guess what they might do.

Geno Smith was a perfect 7-for-7 on his only drive that was capped with a TD pass to tight end Jelani Woods.  Rookie Cade Klubnik came on in relief and performed admirably but did not lead a TD drive.  We'll cover that and more of the top performers from the Jets 17-0 win.

With the New York Jets preparting to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 2 of the preseaason, here are a few names to keep an eye on with quarterback Cade Klubnik obviously topping the list.

The Jets dropped their first preseason game of the year 24-16 to the Tampa Bay Bucs but rookie Cade Klubnik got the start at quarterback and looked impressive in limited action. Once Klubnic exited the game, the Jets offense went flat with Bailey Zappe and Brady Cook taking over.

It was day two of joint practices between the Jets and Tampa Bay Bucs as rookie edge rusher David Bailey managed to shine once again.  Fellow rookie Cade Klbunik also had one of the best throws of training camp, connection on a 50-yard touchdown with wide recevier Arian Smith.
