The episode opens with Angus Hout telling us about the Jets and their  great stats to start the season, which leads to Angus asking Sam  Brownell does it feel like this Winnipeg Jets will burn like teams in  the past? Sam Explains why the team this year is better than the team's  from a few seasons ago.  Angus and Sam look at the Money Puck odds to win the Cup. Is it possible  for the Jets to be the Cup winners?  Should the Jets trade Nikolaj Ehlers?  Angus and Sam agree trading  Ehlers would be simply foolish. Then the debate of whether Ehlers is  elite or is just really good.  How many Alexander Ovechkin goals are acceptable against the Jets Angus  and Sam see it very differently.  The boys rip on the Thrashers records and how foolish it is.  The Boys look at if Connor Hellebuyck should be a Hart finalist. You  can't mention Hellebuyck without talking about David Rittich and how  good he has looked this season. Angus and Sam look at the injuries that are affecting the Jets and  speculate who will be filling in for Saku Maenalanen and some love for  Logan Stanley. Sam looks at Jets' bottom six and the consistency of the  Jets. More praise for Cole Perfetti and the fact he is third in rookie NHL  scoring. Angus calls out John Scott to get him on Jets Nation Radio for  saying the Jets aren't a real threat.

Another Sunday another episode of Jets Nation Radio. Angus has a brand  new back-ground he looks like he's recording in space.  Angus opens up  the episode with a John Scott quote from last Friday's episode of  Dropping the Gloves. The quote is "This is a great start to the season  for the Jets, but I'm not quite buying them as a legit threat in the  west yet." Angus and Sam talk about the Winnipeg Jets and if they are a  good team or not. The Jets are a good team the guys agree on that.  Talks about Dylan Samberg and his beautiful first goal in the NHL and  how good he looks on the back end even with young mistakes. Will Mikey  Eyssimont stay with the Jets when they are all healthy? Sam doesn't  think so for a moment. Angus talks about the Jets' losses and the  similarities between all of them, which leads us down the road of the  awful Power Play. Laine vs. Dubois comes up as the Blue Jackets were in  town on Friday. Which of the two would you want on the with the Jets? Do the Winnipeg  Jets have the most pests on their team? This leads us to who has been  the best Jet in the bottom six. It turns out there are lots of talented  bottom sixers.  Has David Rittich become the whipping boy for the Winnipeg Jets? Angus  thinks so, Sam defends the Jets' backup goaltender. Angus asks about Sam  Gagner and if he is still going to be Jet after the trade deadline. Sam  gives about five reasons why the Jets should not trade.  The boys look at the week ahead for the Jets of course everyone thinks  the Jets. Sam asks who starts in the net in the Chicago Blackhawks and  St. Blues back-to-back games.

Brayden Ewasko from the Whiteout podcast joins us for a Wednesday night  podcast. Angus and Brayden talk about how exciting they are to watch on a  regular basis. Angus talks about the team exceeding expectations from  the summer.  Talks about the special teams comes up and the fact that Rick Bowness  has created a near perfect system for the Jets defenders. Is Connor Hellebuyck going to win the Vezina trophy this year? How good  is Josh Morrissey? Long and short who out of Hellebuyck, Bowness,  Morrissey, and Perfetti wins some hardware? Angus asks about an in season as of right now and maybe one at deadline. The bottom six comes up and there's lots of love for everyone that has  shown up for them. Angus asks about the culture and brings up the speed.   Wheeler's captaincy comes up and they discuss why the dressing room has  had such a turn around. Who has been the best bottom six forward? Angus brings up the fact the Jets were on top of the world to start the season last season and warns everyone about the fact this team could still collapse but still stays positive about this team. Are we at the point where we should worry about Kyle Connor and his lack of scoring? Sam gives us a good reason why Connor is not scoring on a regular basis, this leads to talking about the Jets' power play and why it has been so bad for the Jets early in the season. Angus and Sam talk about the new basketball team that's coming to Winnipeg.
