Welcome to the Jewish News Briefing for Sunday, October 11, 2026. Today’s very short episode announces that the Jewish News Briefing will be paused until mid-November when editions will be again released episodically prior to the full launch of regular, daily, podcasts starting on December 1.
The Jewish News Briefing is designed to do what no Jewish publication currently does, and that is to provide a daily Jewish audio news report with global coverage and that is conveniently accessed. The briefing covers the most important news each day, drawing from some two-dozen respected Jewish publications from around the world. We provide just the news, without editorials, analyses, or opinion pieces.
You can read more on all the stories previously covered when you click the links on our show notes, and links to the publications can be found on our website, TheJewishNewsstand.com. Please subscribe, send us feedback, and share the podcast with others. The briefing is edited by Lawrence Grossman. We appreciate you tuning in and look forward to resuming the Jewish News Briefing in mid-November. Shalom.
